Beyond the school day
Our aftercare and summer programs extend the warmth, creativity, and community of CHP beyond the regular school day and school year.
With familiar routines, open-ended play, creative activities, and plenty of time with friends, children can continue exploring in a relaxed and nurturing environment.
Aftercare
Our After-School Program extends the CHP day in a relaxed, familiar environment. Led by our Auxiliary Programs Coordinator with support from CHP assistant teachers, the program builds on each classroom’s emerging interests while making room for seasonal activities, sensory exploration, storytelling, movement, and indoor and outdoor free play

For families who need consistent after-school coverage, full-year enrollment is available for either four or five days per week.

Pickup is flexible between 3:30 and 6:00 PM. Drop-in spaces are subject to availability.
Flexible drop-in care
Drop-in After-School gives families the flexibility to add care when they need it, without committing to the full-year program.
Drop-in care is available on days your child’s regular schedule ends at 3:30 PM, including eligible mixed-day schedules. Spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and can be requested occasionally or on a recurring basis.
Flexible drop-in care is $70/day
Summer at CHP
Summer camp is a playful extension of the CHP experience, with plenty of time for creativity, exploration, movement, and time with friends.
Each summer, children explore a seasonal theme through art and making, sensory play, stories, age-appropriate STEM activities, outdoor play, and imaginative experiences shaped by the interests of the group.
