Enrichment Programs

Creativity is part of how we learn.

Learning through the arts

Visual and performing arts are an integral part of the CHP experience, giving children new ways to explore ideas, express themselves, and make connections across the curriculum.

Led by specialist teachers and connected to the interests emerging in each classroom, our enrichment programs encourage experimentation, collaboration, imagination, and confidence.

Visual arts

Art begins with exploration, not a predetermined outcome.

Children experiment with color, texture, form, materials, and techniques through open-ended experiences that encourage individual expression and develop ideas over time.

Performing arts

Music, movement, and drama invite children to use their bodies, voices, and imaginations.

Through songs, rhythm, storytelling, dramatic play, and movement, children build confidence, communication skills, and new ways of connecting with others.

Connected to the classroom

Ideas move between the classroom and our enrichment programs. A classroom investigation might inspire an art project, become the subject of a song, or develop through dramatic play, giving children multiple ways to explore and express what they are learning.
