Welcome to Twos
For many children, Twos is their first experience of school. Our teachers create a warm, predictable environment where children can build trusting relationships, explore at their own pace, and gradually grow more comfortable and independent within the classroom community.
Through play, conversation, movement, art, and everyday routines, children begin to develop the confidence and social skills that provide a foundation for the years ahead.
1:4 teacher-child ratio
Our low teacher-to-child ratio allows teachers to build close relationships with each child, respond to their individual needs, and provide reassurance as they settle into school.
Child-led learning
Children are encouraged to follow their interests, make choices, and explore at their own pace, with teachers observing closely and creating opportunities that build on their curiosity.
Process-focused
Through art, movement, building, sensory play, and other open-ended experiences, children are encouraged to experiment and discover without a predetermined outcome.
A morning in Twos

Children settle into the day in the library, reconnecting with teachers and friends and easing into the morning with books and stories.

The class comes together to greet one another, talk about the day ahead, share ideas, and build the routines that help children feel part of the group.

Children move between open-ended classroom exploration and experiences with our specialist teachers, including art, music, movement, and drama.

A trip to the park gives children space to move, play together, explore outdoors, and experience the neighborhood beyond the classroom.

Children gather for snack, practicing everyday routines and independence while enjoying time together around the table.

At the end of the morning, teachers help children transition back to their families and bring the school day to a calm close.
